“So, I went to the Fremont location to get a sandwich for the first time, and the sandwich was great, but they barely put like two slices of turkey. I could hardly see any onion—just one tiny bit. I mostly tasted the bread. In the menu pictures on the website, it looked like they added more meat. I don’t know why they did that, but I just felt like I was eating mostly bread.

This was my first time trying this place. I was very impressed with the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and prompt. I ordered a 4 inch Turkey and Salami sandwich with chips and soda. The sandwich was a good size and tasted delicious. I will definitely be back here again as they have a good selection of sandwiches to choose from. Their sourdough bread is so good.

This place truly serves some of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread is always fresh, the ingredients taste high quality, and everything is made perfectly. You can really tell they care about both flavor and presentation. What impressed me even more was how clean and well-maintained the entire place is. The dining area, counters, and preparation space all look spotless, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I've just discovered this place and highly recommend it. I've tried their ham sandwich, the chicken salad, and today the pastrami on toasted sourdough. All were really good, the service was welcoming and friendly, and the seating area was nice and clean. And the sourdough bread! What's the point of sandwich without fresh bread anyway? I used to bake my own bread and still appreciate a good bread. The name Western Sourdough was what initially caught my eye after trying other sandwich shops in Fremont where the bread was nothing but an afterthought. I thought the portions were just right. This place is great. I hope they do well in Fremont!

I love me a good french dip. The sourdough was good, meat was ok. Very small for the price. I got the 8 inch hoping to take half to next job for dinner. What I got wasn't enough for lunch. Very Skimpy on the meat. If I want to pay $20 after tip for everything I'll just take my business back to regular sandwich shop. I get the fact that the bread is little more fresh. And it was nice clean looking shop. Employees were friendly. However I can't see myself paying more for less, just for quality of the bread.
